Diagnostic reports

Diagnostics and saved report history are designed to stay on your phone. fonecheck has no automatic diagnostic report upload and no report cloud sync. You can delete saved reports in the app.

Reports contain device diagnostic information. Exporting a PDF or JSON file creates a shareable copy. You decide whether to send it, and the receiving email or sharing service handles that copy under its own practices.

Accounts and advertising

fonecheck does not require a fonecheck account and is planned without advertising. The planned full-version purchase will be offered through Google Play. Google's account and purchase handling are separate from local report storage.

Permissions

Some diagnostic functions need access to features such as the camera, microphone or location. Available checks depend on your device and the permissions you grant. A missing permission may limit a check.

Crash reporting

Firebase Crashlytics is planned for the released app to help investigate crashes. Its configuration, collected data and any available controls will be documented before release. Local report storage should not be read as a promise that the released app never sends any data.

This website

The website itself does not include advertising, analytics scripts, a mailing-list form or account registration. Fonts and app preview images are served with the site rather than requested from third-party font or image services.

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website and processes the technical request data needed to serve it. On the homepage, a script may ask Cloudflare for your country code to show the full-version Google Play price in your local currency. The website does not store that country code.
